noch ein kleiner Nachtrag, nachdem ich weitergeschmökert habe.
PF2 hat eine riesige Anzahl an Feats, die nur einen mini-Effekt auf das Spiel haben. Diese Unmengen an kleinen z.t. vollkommen uninteressanten Fizzelfeats (ala "+1 Circumstancebonus auf Kriechen im Dunkeln" etc.) sind wirklich zuviel des Guten. Erstens merkt sich das in dieser Menge kein Mensch und zweitens kommen die in der durchschnittlichen Kampagne wenns gut geht, 1-2x zum einsatz.

PF1 funktioniert für mich ausgezeichet. Auch ich hab einen Meter davon zu Hause und werde dabei bleiben. Es wären ja auch ca. 20 Adventure Paths damit zu spielen ...

Das Problem ist, dass ich das mit den Ancestry auch reizvoll finde. Oder allein, dass man schon am Anfang mit verschiedenen Talenten seine Rasse definieren kann...

Mal ne dumme Frage.... d.h. das es jetzt keine PF1 Sachen mehr gibt bzw. übersetzt werden? Gut... sind ja auch genug... ich hab soviel im Schrank, das ist schon ne Menge was Ulisses übersetzt hat. Irgendwann ist gut... *ggg*

Ich bin mir ehrlich gesagt nicht sicher, ob ich umsteige. Deswegen will ich da erstmal nicht gleich die Bücher holen, sondern die pdfs. Im Moment bin ich mit D&D5 sehr zufrieden, und finde PF1 im Vergleich zu umständlich.
Lass es, du wirst nur enttäuscht sein, denn PF2 hat alle die Vorteile von PF1 rausgeschmissen und durch Ideen aus D&D 4e ersetzt!
-3 Aktionen-"Economy" ersetzt das übliche actionsystem von pf1 (interessant)
-Regelwerk ist top aufgebaut und läßt kaum Interpretationsspielräume über (super)
-die ACs und anderes steigen automatisch mit dem Level (bäh! das mochte ich schon bei der 4th edition nicht...)
-LP bloat (auch bäh!)

Nein, es ist nicht besser, es ist anders. Und dies ist der große Fehler, den Paizo hier macht. Man muss doch nicht bei einer neuen Edition alle Regeln ändern! Paizo hat anscheinend vergessen, weshalb Pathfinder ursprünglich so erfolgreich war.
Alse keine 2. Edition für mich.

Ja. D&D 5e ist einfacher, weil man aus der Blamage D&D 4e gelernt hat. Es gibt keine tausend Würfelmodifikatoren mehr, sondern nur noch Vor- und Nachteil, was das Spiel deutlich einfacher macht.
Das PF2-Fertigkeitssystem ähnelt stark dem von D&D 4e, ist aber etwas komplexer. Und dank der Flut von Feats kann man auch später neue Fertigkeiten erlernen, in denen man aber automatisch so gut ist, als ob man sie auf der ersten Stufe erhalten hätte.

Zum Glück nur vom Lesen. ich fühlte mich von Anfang an so sehr an D&D 4e erinnert, dass ich keine Lust auf eine PF2-Runde mehr habe. Ich ahtte wirklich gehofft, dass PF2 auf Starfinder basieren würde, welches ein wirklich gelungenes Update von PF1 ist, aber leider war man bei Paizo der Meinung, dass man ein PF2 entwickeln müsste, mit dem man die Spieler, die man an D&D 5e verloren hat, zurückgewinnen könnte. Leider funktioniert dies mit diesen Regeln nicht, weil sie im Vergleich zu D&D 5e immer noch viel zu komplex sind.

Ich hatte gefragt, weil sich vielleicht manches am Spieltisch anders anfühlt, als beim theoretischen Lesen.
Meine Hoffnung war auch, das PF2 sich an Starfinder orientiert (hatte auch mal Gerüchte in der Richtung gehört), da mir das System ausgesprochen gut gefällt.

Das glauben die nicht nur, dass können sie sogar belegen, denn während der Veröffentlichungszeit von D&D 4e war Pathfinder das am meisten verkaufte Rollenspiel in den USA, aber sobald D&D 5e herauskam, brachen die Verkaufszahlen von Pathfinder ein. Und seitdem ist D&D wieder der Marktführer.

Das ist jetzt schwer zu erklären. Starfinder hat einige problematische Regel, die von D&D 3.5 unverändert übernommen wurden, durch bessere ersetzt.

Das kann man nicht sagen, denn es kommt doch auf den persönlichen Spielstil an. Wenn dir Pathfinder zu kompliziert ist, wäre D&D 5e das richtige für dich. Pathfinder 2 hingegen ...

Gegenfrage: Wieso sollte man nicht unterschiedlcieh Rollenspiele spielen? Das Spielgefühl ist allein schon wegen der unterschiedlichen regeln ein anderes.

Hab ich nicht. Es ist mir nur ziemlich egal, denn es ist m.E. so schlecht entworfen wie 90% aller anderen D&D Fertigkeitssysteme die in den letzten 50 Jahren das Licht der Welt erblickten. Die Ausnahmen sind D&D5 und Castles & Crusades. Deren beider Interpretation von Fertigkeiten sind die einzigen die mir in der D&D+Epigonen Serie überhaupt ein wenig mehr gefallen.
