I got the ref for the FSV puzzle Der Goldene Drache : #8549/2
And found out the existence of a 4th FSV puzzle (once again with the term Drache(n) in the title...) :
Drachen der Hoffnung (Dragons of Hope) (by Keith Parkinson) - Ref unknown

FYI, I just found out the existence of a 3rd D&D Jigsaw puzzle from FSV.
I start to belive more of these were published as their titles are based on colors-dragons instead of the picture's original title.
Actually trying to do searches based on this concept... as Der Grüne Drache puzzle, Der Schwartze Drache puzzle, etc... no luck so far but well, time will tell I guess.
Der Rote Drache (Red Dragon) (Larry Elmore)
Ref #8548/3 - 1985?
Der Regenbogen-Drache (Revenge of the Rainbow Dragons) (Jeff Easley)
Ref #8561/6 - 1985?
Der Goldene Drache (D&D Air Attack) (Larry Elmore)
Ref #? - 1985?
Here s my pinterest link for every pictures I could gather of these :
I think it was from 1985 to 1988 for sure that the "dragon logo" (the one I use here, a scan from the Master Set) was used. Prior to that, they had no logo, just printing the address on the books and boxes.
Thanks for this info !
Now after digging (well sorting stuff on my PC... XD), it appears I have the FSV references for the 2 jigsaw puzzles : 8548/3 & 8561/6.
Could these be useful to determine the date of issuing ?
The logo used is from 1985 or 86 onward (can´t find the information at the moment), up until 1988, when the company was dissolved. I wrote quite a bit about the history of D&D in Germany here:
https://www.acaeum.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=1&t=16170&c=1 Somewhere in there the information about the logo used should be included.
Hello stebehil,
Well thanks for the prompt reply ! Knowing the FSV's ones were issued between 1985-88 is some info !
Kinda hard to find much info on this company during this period. (well, I surely haven't dig enough in german search tho..)
I think I may have posted something in Acaeum (maybe in this one topic even) but for some reason, since a few weeks I have no longer access to the forum there... surely due to my VPN... technology heh... -_-;
The Schmidt Spiele jigsaws might be earlier than 1986. From what I remember, the light blue box design was used for some RPG products in 1984/85, but could have been used later, of course. This is obviously a product for the french market.
Well, I am pretty sure one is from 1986 at least (red box). But indeed maybe the blue box one was issued earlier tho... Not easy to find info on these too...
Anyway, I ll keep digging and hopefully someone will know more on this very particular subject !
Thanks again !
Kuro
Hello,
First of all, sorry to speak in english but my german is really really bad...
Maybe you can help me... For years, I am compiling all datas I can collect to establish a full list of the licensed D&D jigsaw puzzles.
Here it is in its actual state if you want to have a look :
https://kuronons.blogspot.com/2010/05/d-puzz…itive-list.html
Now, I am looking for info concerning D&D jigsaw puzzles published by FSV. I found one only picture of their existing evidence of the web.
Here it is for an insight :
https://sites.google.com/site/kuronons/…SV%20German.JPG
I have no idea if only these 2 exist or if there are more, no idea of the publishing year also. And obviously no ref.
Have you guys already seen these ?
Any piece of info would be greatly appreciated !
Thanks in advance !
Kuro
